About Me
My name is Joanne Jordan and I'm a Registered Maine Guide and a native to Maine. I started snowmobiling and boating as a child while spending time at my father's camp in the Northern Maine woods. My father is the inspiration behind my love of adventure.
Wild Women Adventures began in 2001 when I brought my 10 and 13 year old daughters to "The County" where the three of us snowmobiled to an off the grid camp for a week long adventure. From that winter on I took mother-daughter snowmobile trips from Millinocket to Madawaska, Maine with my daughters. Friends have joined in along the way and it's time to share these adventures with others of all abilities from a 200 mile loop with expert riders to a half day looking at the beauty of the North Maine Woods.
I love to host adventures on my 23ft Tri-toon boat that is based in Naples, Maine on Brandy Pond. The area offers miles of some of the best fresh water boating in Maine. Summers in the Lakes Region is full of sandbars, swimming, exploring the rivers or spending the day watching my grandkids enjoy the water. A day on my boat is a guaranteed good time for people of all ages!
